Who should take this course?
This course is intended for students who want to begin their studies of Arabic.

What will we be studying?
Listening and speaking in everyday situations in Arabic, introduction to reading and writing, culture.

What will be expected of me?
Students will be expected to participate in class and do the required work. Students must attend class twice a week after school.

How is the course taught?
The course will introduce the students to basic skills in Arabic.

What are the completion requirements?
Students must participate in class activities, do homework, take examinations.

Details and pre/co-requisites:
A three-year sequence in another language to fulfill graduation requirements. No prior knowledge of Arabic is necessary.
