Spanish for the Language Heritage Learner FS5N and FS6N

Who should take this course?
This course has been designed especially for those students who have had some outside experience in Spanish, either at home with a relative or by living in a Spanish-speaking country for some time.

What will we be studying? What will be expected of me?
Students who can comprehend some Spanish or speak at an intermediate level need to address special needs, such as reading and writing skills while building on their already acquired skills in speaking and listening comprehension.

What are the completion requirements?
Students will be expected to read, express themselves in Spanish orally and in writing, and participate in class discussions. They will be expected to do homework and take examinations.

Details and pre/co-requisites:
Students who are not sure if this course is apropriate for them should see the Chairperson of the Foreign Language Department for an evaluation. By enrolling in FS5N in the fall, you will automatically be programmed for FS6N in the spring.
