Acrylic Painting

Who should take this
course?
This class is open to seniors, but
other students, with the permission of the department chairperson may
also enroll in this class.
What will we be studying? What
will be expected of me?
- This is a hands-on studio class. It
functions like an artist workshop.
- Students will draw original sketches for
their paintings. They will participate in peer review and
evaluation of their work. Students will be expected to visit the
Metropolitan Museum of Art. A project will be assigned based on
this visit.
- Completed paintings and drawings,
as assigned in class must be turned in. One painting must
be acceptable for incluson in the school art exhibit.
Are there any special demands,
costs, etc?
You will be responsible for
purchasing paints and brushes. Students who need financial assistance
will be funded by the student government.
