Who should take this
course?
Open to any grade. Students
interested in a laboratory experience in electronics for the
scientist.
What will we be studying?
SP5PE1 and SP6PE2 DC and AC
theory; circuit analysis with particular emphasis on the LCR circuits
and resonance; Instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters
and oscilloscopes, power supplies; applied electronics topics such as
amplifiers; oscillators; radio receivers and transmitters;
transistors and circuits; common emitter amplifiers; bias stability;
input/output impedance measurements.

10- 20% Lectures
80-90% Laboratory Experiences
What are the completion
requirements?
completion of labs and submision of
lab reports
Passing grades in tests based on labs and lectures
All tests are open notebook style
