Who should take this course?
This course is open to all students - anyone who is interested in how physics can explain and optimize sports techniques and equipment .

What will we be studying?
Gymnastics, swimming, baseball and other sports will be discussed. Rotational dynamics and fluid mechanics, two topics not covered in Regents Physics will be studied.

What will be expected of me?
Regular attendance, some homework, exams and labs.

How is the course taught?
The course will be taught through a combination of class discussions, labs and field trips (gym and pool). If possible, there will be a field trip to an amusement park to study amusement park physics.

What are the completion requirements?
Exams, lab reports.
