Computer Graphics ML6 

Who should take this course?
Students interested in computer science who have completed ML2X.

What will we be studying?
This single semester college level course teaches the students the techniques used in modern computer graphics applications. Topics include motion description, ray tracing, lighting and shading, and animation. Students implement systems in C or Pascal to demonstrate techniques similar to those used in commercial computer graphics systems, such as those used for the M and M commercials, "Jurassic Park," or "Toy Story."

What will be expected of me?
Students will be required to complete a number of programming projects. Class time will be spent in the computer lab so as to facilitate their completion.

How is the course taught?
The class will consist of a combination of classroom discussion and computer lab time.

Details and pre/co-requisites:
ML2X as a pre- or co-requisite or the chairman's permission is required. Students are encouraged to take ML5 prior to enrolling in this class. This course is offered only during the spring semester.
