Who should take this
course?
Students who are interested in
pursuing architecture as a career and students wishing to enhance
their current knowledge of architecture.
What will we be studying?
Space and form manipulation,
biological and mechanical transformations into architectural
environments, landscape architecture, pen and ink techniques,
artistic rendering, model making and group dynamics
techniques.
What will be expected of
me?
You will be expected to demonstrate
the ability to work independently in a resourceful manner and be
willing to explore your creative potential.
How is the course taught?
Through a series of individual and
group instruction, slides, filmstrips and videotapes.
What are the completion
requirements?
Individual projects, a model and one
group project.
Are there any special demands,
costs, etc.?
Materials replacement
fee.
Details and
pre/co-requisites:
Architecture TDPPA1A is a prerequisite for this
course, or special permission from both the department chairperson
and the instructor. Advanced Architecture is given in the Spring only.
